Untitled[edit]

There is something wrong or unclear:

  1. Baldwin is created first count of Flanders in 862
  2. he eloped with Judith in 863
  3. he is made count of Ghent after the recognition of the marriage by king Charles

I assume that count of Ghent and count of Flanders could be the same. But I don't understand when he is made count - before or after the marriage. --Nk 11:14, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC

Guinidilda is not a daughther of Baldwin[edit]

Except from "Gestis Comitum Barcinonensium" therare not any more evidence that Guinidilda d¨Ampuries was daughther of Baldwin There are more evidences, that Guinidilda was a local woman (Septimania) probably daughther of one Borrell — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.36.137.5 (talk) 09:03, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Enguerrand[edit]

Baldwin I "was the son of Odoacer. Odoacer was the son of Enguerrand delle Fiandre. Enguerrand delle Fiandre was the daughter of Liederik." Enguerrand is a male French name, so could impossibly have been someone's daughter. And why mention Enguerrand's name in Italian? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.118.147.64 (talk) 12:31, 25 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
